I’ve never been the kind of girl that dreams about getting married and living in a house with a white picket fence but I am absolutely giddy about Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green getting married. It’s strange and awkward because I don’t know either of them but I wish them both the best. They seem so detached from Hollywood and they appear to be very real and authentic and just…well, human. And whenever an actress or a model or anyone that is recognized as an icon or a symbol is real and human and vulnerable it’s beautiful.

Brian’s rep tells ET that the couple married in an intimate, private ceremony on the island of Hawaii, Thursday, June 24, 2010. The bride is 24, the groom, 36. This is the first marriage for both stars, although, Brian has an eight-year-old son, Kassius, with actress Vanessa Marcil. Kassius was at the wedding.

The rumor of a wedding began when Star Magazine reported late Monday that sources were buzzing that the couple wed in a hush-hush ceremony at the Four Seasons Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu late last week. They reported the couple is still honeymooning at the resort.

Actually we couldn’t see any photographers here at all. We’ve been here since the 25th, seen them everyday (on beach for hours, at dinner, on the footpaths just walking around) & no one was bothering them. It’s a huge, sprawling, quiet & relaxed resort, and they were left alone from what we could see, which was refreshing. He was even cheering on a bunch of kids playing football in the surf.
