Im not an expert on these thing but recently Megan has been only wearing one of the two rings she normally wears http://shopmelizabethblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Megan-Fox-Engagement-ring.jpg she has only been wearing the band. Maybe she is afraid of losing since she has to take it off for friends with kids (her character is single). early valentines day gift thats probably it. Like Andie said maybe Megan didn’t feel like wearing a ring and she has gone out without it before but that raises the question of why buy/wear another ring? Maybe Megan is worried about losing or damaging the ring so she replaced it with a cheaper ring that has slightly less sentimental value but symbolises their love just a thought no real proof.

Thank you for thoroughly done research, Deon. I think it’s probably what you said: the wedding (and engagement, though not to the same extent) ring is pretty valuable and as such she doesn’t want to tote it around when she knows she’s in the middle of shooting a film and is in risk of losing it.

Back when her and Brian were engaged the first time – before their break-up/separation in 2009 – she didn’t wear the ring all the time then either. If I remember right they even called her mother up and asked about her relationship with Brian (wanting to state if they in fact were engaged or not) and she (or it might have been someone else) said something about Megan not wearing the rings at all times for the reasons that @Andie mentioned; she doesn’t need it to prove she’s committed.

As a side not: one of my very good friend’s now-fiancée actually bought one of those Celtic rings for her before they got engaged. I think the sentiment behind that is very sweet.

Exactly guys. I think this Celtic ring is one of Brian’s gifts to Megan for Valentine’s Day. And it seems her ring also has Celtic knots.

And like Jess said, even around the time of the first engagement, Megan didn’t wear the ring either. It’s her thing. Probably she thinks she doesn’t need to prove she’s married or that she loves Brian just by wearing the ring. So she keeps it safe. I also think the possiblility of her not wanting to lose it since it has great value is valid.

And about replacing with the Celtic one, I don’t think she’s kind of replacing it. She just put it in the same finger probably because of the symbolism of it. Brian gave it to her. It symbolizes love and becoming one forever. The wedding ring also symbolizes that, so she just put it in the same finger.

I think it’s automatic when your boyfriend or fiancee and especially your husband give you a ring, you have the tendency to put it in that finger. If the woman is wearing the wedding ring, she puts the other ring in the same finger but in the other hand. It’s symbolism.

(Hey by the way, is there anyone who knows if Megan’s going to be attending the Grammy’s tonight? I’m not sure she would but you never know.
