It's funny how you said you stayed on 34th and 5th Ave because I'm at some internet cafe at 36th and 5th as I'm typing this. I'm glad you enjoyed New York City. Everyday is a scene out of an action movie, everything is non-stop.
now that i recall, it was actually 34 E 32nd street (Grand Union Hotel ), still close to your cafe :)
it is non-stop, that's what i noticed.. every couple of blocks is like a mini city in and of itself.. we sat watching a guy running a fruitstand on the sidewalk at breakfast and we were thinking "who's gonna buy fruit from this guy??" and the dude was busy the whole time we were there, customer after customer.. everything is packed and busy and real confusing lol.. i experienced public transportation from JFK to our hotel, what an experience that was! it's not like i have not been to big cities before, i have been to many, but nothing really compares to NYC in my opinion
i would like to take a vacation there soon, we were only there for 3 nights but 2 nights we had concerts to see so didn't get to experience all that i would have liked to..

As Red Mosquito said (I'm paraphrasing him): New York City is non-stop. There's always something happening. It seems as if the whole world is focused on what's happening in New York. Remember that clip I showed everyone where Megan was being interviewed and they showed her a clip of Shia describing his kiss with her as like kissing a unicorn? Well, nicolaspasta, the place where that interview took place was a twenty minute walk from where I live. So Megan was close to me yet again.
If you (or anyone here) finds himself in New York City, let me know and we can hang out.
Here's another picture of New York. It's of the Empire State Building. I know Mosquito must've seen this during his stay in NYC.

The Yankees are playing excellent baseball and everything is in high hopes and spirits in New York City. I've got another picture to show you. This is Times Square, the Center of the World. This is the place where the entire world watches as the ball drops to celebrate the beginning of the new year everything that's for your source of entertainment happens in this area. Like with the other pictures I posted (except for the Empire State Building) Times Square is a few blocks from where I live.

It is amazing. For someone who comes to NY for the first time, feels like they've seen everything in their lives. I swear when I tell you that you will never see SO MANY wonderful and hot women all in one place at the same time.
Remember the first picture I showed in this topic showing the skyline of the city? The first tall building in the far left of that picture is on the same block as to where I live. Here is a close up. It's called the World Wide Plaza.

The white building in the backround is where I live. It must've been a cold day when that picture was taken because there are no leaves on the trees. On warmer days a lot of strangers are eating outside that Blockheads restaurant.

Thanks, guys! I think that last picture came from Wikipedia.org. When I saw it, I couldn't believe that a picture of my buiding was on the site. I'm not in the picture, though. It's a very nice neighborhood. The following picture was taken a block west from where I live (I did not take this picture). The reason I'm showing this is becaue this is an identical view of what you would see if you looked outside of the window of my old apartment on the fifth floor. When I moved up to the eleventh floor, I would've gotten a much better view, but my windows are facing the Hudson river. In any event, this is a view of what you would see if the window were facing south:
These buildings that you see in the backround are not as far as it looks, trust me. Within ten minutes, you will be in the middle of all of it. Crazy madness and crazy fun. When you hear about how much fun and excitment New York City is about, believe the hype. Believe the hype.

This is a house that is a few blocks away from my apartment. I just love it, i see it everyday in my way to university. I'd like to have an old house like this one in the future.

You live in New York, National? Lucky one. It's my favorite city all over the world and my biggest dream to live and work there one day.
Here is my city. Bonn is near cologne. Nothing special at all. Bethoven was born here.
