In the next few months, will reprise his role as Sam Witwicky in "". According to Mike Fleming from Deadline Hollywood, which reported that the actor moves to CAA Agency, the upcoming movie will kick off principal photography in May this year. Additionally, Screen Crave mentioned that Paramount Pictures is considering to shoot the film in 3-D.
Beside LaBeouf, has signed on for the film. She will be seen portraying Mikaela Banes, the mutual love interest of Sam, for the third time. The actress has previously got promise from director Michael Bay that she will get a "great part" in the next installment of "" film franchise.
The man behind the first movie and its sequel "", who will return to the same position for "Transformers 3", has also confirmed that the release date for the forthcoming film has been moved up a year from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2011. Bay will also serve as producer alongside Steven Spielberg.

I'm looking forward to the next Transformers movie since I left cinema after ROTF…

well if that script we read was at all real, it really did bring down the number of robots and it was more detailed…don't ya think? I'm curious to see where they're going to go with this one.

I didn't read that leaked script.
I just want Bay to put a great end to the franchise with a trilogy because it's losing it's excitment. I felt that with ROTF.
I know the franchise is really profitable and it will sell even if the movie is bad… But sometimes it's not all about money.

what didn't you like about ROTF? I gotta admit I loved it, maybe more then the first and in all honesty it was the second movie that got me to jump on the Megan bandwagon

I loved it too, but it doesn't mean it's a good movie at all.
What didn't I like about it? The poor plot, which doesn't justify the Bayhem at all
