here's how i would elaborate the awful (which i don't fully agree with
- i'd give it 2.5/5, but whatever). it felt incomplete. in fact, it
felt like this was a screener, and there was still many millions and
months of work to be done. i mean, the music still had half the temp
track – despite the fact that during the Q&A the director was
applauded for the great score, at least a third of the music heard were
clips from other movies (Benjamin Button, World Trade Center, etc).
but worst of all, by far, was the special effects. simply put, if
they ARE complete, they're the worst CGI effects i've ever seen in a
major motion picture. they're embarassing, and by the time the final
scene came around, played in front of the most obvious green screen in
memory with CGI that looked little better than Birdemic (youtube the
trailer if you're curious), a ton of the audience members were laughing
themselves silly. and it was NOT supposed to be a funny scene. Fox's
wings were soooooo fake looking…no better than, i dunno, a YTV
commercial. actually, worse. so hopefully this was just the result of
the movie's CGI work not yet being complete.
the rest of the movie was Ok….rambly, disjointed, and kinda
silly, but it's heart was in the right place, it was shot beautifully,
and the acting was top notch (even Megan Fox was really good). overall,
a great idea that was not executed well.
cheers

another from imdb, he also liked Megans performance
It was embarrassingly bad. The director/screenwriter mentioned in the
Q/A that Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray were old friends of his….which
explains their involvement…..as for Megan Fox…I take it she just
isn't getting offered much in the way of quality roles so she is taking
what she can get.
The only thing I can say in defence of this film is that the main
actors (yes…Megan included) do a good job….but the script is so
poorly written and cheesy that the film is just a disaster. 1/5
