but i imagined that character to be maybe the same size or smaller than Happy? because he has to be afraid of him & stuff. but sometimes "goons" are bigger than their leader…but we'll see i guess.

i just read an article saying this movie is a dark comedy…however, IMDB.com says its a Drama | Thriller & other sites say it's a Period Piece. I laughed many times while reading the script, so what genre does the movie fall into exactly? or is it all of these.

well, after the "gangster" we all hear about in the movie synopsis sort of captures her (im guessing that's the dude who is in the glass box with her, in some pix), he puts her in a glass box in his mansion so that men can just come sit & look at her. she's on display because she has wings.

seeing the pictures now, i remember what she said back in the NY Times interview:

“I have to pull back a little bit now,”  Fox said. “I do live in a glass box. And I am on display for men to pay to look at me. And that bothers me. I don’t want to live that character.”

that was really kinda sad to know…but its the truth.

Wow, I never read that interview but that quote is really sad. :( I hope she doesn't feel still like that.

i thought the same. but figured they're probably just leaving them up to CGI. because in first pix we saw with her & Mickey by the truck, she didnt have a "hump" where her wings would be under her jacket, as described in the script.

where did you read that? WOW I was kinda hoping that pictures would leak out with her wearing the wings. I was thinking maybe those pictures that you posted, might be at the beginning where Nate first walks into the World of Wonders circus and the guy in there could be Sam Amado.

you know i was reading on idmb.com, this movie doesn't have a distributor as of yet so it might get filmed and sit until a studio picks it up, the only way we'll be able to see it as at the film festivals (i'm hoping by the time it's done or soon after it gets picked up).

Wonder if they're filming as Mickey  just presented the best actress in a drama at the golden globes (YAY to Sandra Bullock for the win)
