MEGAN FOX is already eyeing a career out of the spotlight – she wants to devote her life to helping the less fortunate.
The sexy actress has skyrocketed to fame starring in hit blockbusters including the Transformers franchise, but insists she won't feel fulfilled until she uses her high-profile to better the lives of others.
She says, "Overall, in terms of this business, I hope to gain the status that will enable me to be truly and legitimately helpful to people.
"I feel like that's my purpose in life, to do charity work and help people around the world on a global level. Being part of this business, you have so much influence and you can really make a difference. I'm drawn towards the idea of somehow helping children."

She could, and should, hop onto the twitter site and get a good page rolling. That's where actor(actress) to fan comminication is at. If she can get a twitter page going, and get lots of fans there, like over 100k, then she has an even greater chance to get more help for the children.

She doesn't have to try to tackle this feat on her own, she can easily use her fans to get more support for her task.

even if she does get on twitter, i highly doubt it will focus on helping children. it can be used for promotional purposes, but the children she's talking about helping are more of those in need, which is why she wants to do charity work. & really, "helping" them through the computer wont be helping them at all.

this is the first statement ive heard from her which entails this sort of thing, so i'd say to just wait & see where it goes. she may really get into the charity work when she doesnt have so many movies & stuff lined up, which is obviously not right now.

but i'll be the first to sign any kind of petition she creates or be behind any campaign she leads in the future.

The only real stuff you get from Megan, are her interviews. This is the way she seems to want to like it, but in order for her to actually be able to make a big difference that it seems she wants to make, why not get the general public on board with her, not (no offense to some of you guys) just the "more than fans" people, or the "stalkers". Use paparazzi against themselves.

Celebs aren't the only people whom will help charities. If she were to make a twitter page, and generate a more broad fan base, by communicating with them, letting them see more of what she see's, what she's doing, she will then be able to use this "against" them. Were in the age of information, people want to know what's cool, what famous people do in their spare time, or are doing now. Spin this around and use it.

Most of her fans that I see are die-hard fans, they will support her every move, so why not take advantage. By reading some of your guys' posts, I am pretty sure that if she were to ask for help with a certain charity, that if you cannot yourself contribute, you will then find some other way. This is because of the mentality die-hard fans have. They try to please that with which they cannot obtain. Don't quote me on that, but I am sure that if she were to publicly announce something, and even drop in on some forums, or a twitter page, that she will be able to get more support than what she alone can do, and it only takes about 10seconds to make a tweet. Which in turn will bring her influence outside of America, and get donations from those whome have no access really, many people don't have internet, but twitter can be read via cellphones.

All I am saying is if she really wants to help children, or what ever it is that she thinks that she was placed on this earth to do. Start now, while your still young, the more time she puts into preparation, the more support she will get in the end.

well im not a "die hard fan" or "more than a fan" & im definitely not a stalker. i just admire Megan Fox as a person, which i guess would make me just a fan.

i watch her interviews & obtain enough facts to know that she's way too private for all of this. she loves her fans of course, but that doesnt mean she needs to be like "other celebrities". Megan is different & we love her for that.

i guess i should speak for myself here, so im saying that i dont want to know all about her life or "what she's doing in her spare time". if she told me, i wouldnt mind. but it doesnt matter to me. im not there with her, so it really shouldnt be any of my business.

i think the idea of celebs being on twitter is cool and all (honestly, i have a twitter & i dont follow any celebs), but i wouldnt want anybody pushing Megan to get on there. ive seen what people write to celebs on twitter & it can get way worse than nasty. my thoughts are, even if she got on, she probably wouldnt even tweet much anyways. she's just very private & "boring" (to people who arent fans).

if she doesnt wanna do the charity work right now, who are you to tell her what to do. all we got from her was a statement saying what she wants to do in life. i think you should just read it as it is, leave it at that & stop trying to pick apart her words.
