I also believe; if she really said that; she overreacted. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't say that in a normal situation.

the media has definately a bigger effect than other things related to this, cause media its the biggest source of information and communication, go figure why they wrote this, cause they have lots of ways to report things, like trough a newspaper or a magazine

Okey.. I know if even no one said there is a war between megan and angie she would be famous but if she didnt say '' I am hotter than Jolie'' she wouldnt be famous in the whole world. Or she will be famous in the whole world but not as fast as she did!

where'd you read that she said she was hotter than Angelina? please give us the link. i know i for one, with the amount of interviews i have read and videos i have watched, i have never read anywhere that she said anything like that. she has definitely said, "I am a brunette with tattoos, I curse and I have made mention of sex before. I joked about it which people find outrageous so they (the media) want to constantly compare that to her."
meaning, she never came up with this comparison, the media did.
if you dont believe that, then this is a video interview where she says basically the same thing. as you can see, the words came from her mouth. no paraphrasing or anything:

i did read his post. but without a reliable source, which was the point of my post…why settle with what you heard somebody say. discussing the facts is more rational.

I doubt about it because it was just ONE reporter who said that. I know what a reporter can do to get his story…

thats what it sounds like to me too. But she didnt even say that. No matter how much you can paraphrase her quote, that can never be the intention.

i dont think the media making up a comment like that has determined how "famous" she's become. she's as known as she is because of her appearance in back to back huge blockbuster films, not to mention that because of those movies she's appeared on the cover of countless magazines in the last yr & half and chances are she will continue to get bigger as more of her films come out and they media frenzy will explode all over again next yr when T3 is released.
