Ive been trying to find the original source of the quote it doesnt seem to be Nietzsche. Its seems thats its an old saying thats been changed over the years into more modern english
Rumi, Henri Bergson, George Carlin all have similar sayings attributed to them.
"It is enough for us to stop up our ears to the sound of music, in a room where people are dancing, in order that the dancers immediately appear ridiculous." Henri Bergson seems to be the oldest one that is very similar
