If I Don’t Touch You
If I Don’t Touch You by Atta

If the breeze of the morning touches your face and in a pleasantry fiery do your
hair frolic, know that is an affection of mine,
without saying goodbye, I asked the wind to deliver it…
If walking through the woods, I feel the smell of life, from dry and wet leaves, perfume of flowers, it could be jasmine or something like that, it´s
still my message that will go with my perfume, for you too never ever forgive me…
Listening to the sound of clear water is going to make you remember my crazy things trying to subdue you.
One charmed waterfall is going to make you remember
my laughter only when I would exist to love you…
And listen to the bird´s singing, in some branches loving each other, remember our words that we talked about, whispering, leaving in any corner.
Leaving a song saying what existed in our hearts…
If a drop of bold dew in your face drops and another one, still
insistent, falls, it´s just a tear that slipped, that´s the immense
yearning consuming myself…
And, if at nightfall, when everything is silence,
look into the horizon, hear when the night comes.
The same star will tell you
if I never find you, I will never forget you…
