This clip is from last week but I figured I might as well post it anyways – it’s just a short TV Guide Network segment on Megan highlighting her appearances on the June covers of Esquire and Elle Magazines (they mostly talk about Elle).

Today (May 16th) is Megan’s birthday, she is 23 today. That is all.
Megan Fox has placed #2 on the 2009 Maxim Hot 100 behind Olivia Wilde who took the #1 spot – huh?
Now I could get behind the FHM ranking which placed Cheryl Cole ahead of Megan – I could buy that; but I’m not so sure about Olivia Wilde.
Megan was #16 in 2008 and #18 in 2007 when she made her first appearance on the list.
My conspiracy theory is that because she does not seem to be doing anymore photoshoots for them, they couldn’t or wouldn’t give her the #1 spot because then they would have to go back and recycle the old pictures that everyone has already seen.
I can’t believe I even put this much thought into this post – FML.
Here are a couple of pictures of Megan Fox from the new issue of Elle magazine.

Megan will be featured in the June 2009 issue of Esquire magazine. Esquire is promoting an interesting video cover that was shot with a Red One video camera which will be available on esquire.com/megan on May 4th so be sure to check it out. The June issue of the magazine will be available on newsstands May 11th. Here are a couple of captures from the video cover:
Cheryl Cole has won the FHM 100 Sexiest Woman in the World for 2009. As you may recall, Megan took the title last year, but she has been knocked down to second place this year. Coming in second place out of what, 3 billion women, is still pretty good though so hopefully Megan is not too disappointed (if she even cares!). I have no problem with Cheryl Cole winning, she’s definitely hot amirite?

No, she is not appearing in Taco Bell ads as the title might imply, but the Hollywood Reporter’s Risky Biz Blog is reporting that Megan will star as the lead in the border thriller “The Crossing.” Production may start as soon as July but no release date has been set.
From the article:
Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi penned the pic, in which a couple returning from a Mexican vacation is carjacked and the husband kidnapped. The wife (Fox) must smuggle heroin across the border in order to spring him.
Culpepper noted that Fox is ideal for the role of a woman who must be both victim and hero. The part “requires a vulnerability to make you care about her but a kind of strength to make you believe she can pull off the things she needs to,” he said. “And Megan has both a vulnerability about her and an unbelievable strength.”

The Hollywood Reporter’s Risky Biz Blog is reporting that Megan Fox is attached to play an angel opposite Rourke in “Passion Plays,” an indie drama that Mitch Glazer is writing and directing.
From the article:
Here’s the skinny on the project: Rourke will play a down-on-his-heels trumpet player, and Fox will play an angel in 1950s Los Angeles, with Rourke finding redemption in Fox after he attempts to save her from a gangster. Those familiar with the project describe it as a dramatic but heartwarming tale.
Fox’s character is described, in part, as as a slender beauty with wings who is part of a carnival.

I mentioned last week that Megan was on the cover of the May 2009 edition of Empire Magazine (UK) and here are the scans from the acutal issue itself. Enjoy!
Here is Megan Fox somewhere in Los Angeles yesterday (March 17) enjoying some kind of pink, fruity, refreshing (one can only assume) beverage.
In other (non) Megan Fox news, the sphincternet is reporting that a release date for Transformers 3 has been set (July 1, 2011) despite the fact that there is no cast, crew or script yet. However, Jesus himself (Michael Bay), posted in the forums on his blog that the date he agreed to with Paramount was July 4, 2012 – so as per usual, the internet is stupid.
