There’s not much going on lately so I decided to do a small update on Megan’s new flicks.

Passion Play update: 6 shoot days left… This dream is coming to an end. Megan wrapped yesterday, as did Rhys. What a film!

The shoots should end today and, as we reported back last month, Megan should be reshooting for Jonah Hex these days.

In a recent interview, Mickey Rourke tells Entertainment Weekly:

I didn’t know too much about her, except what I read. And I think the pleasant surprise was this girl who’s a world-class beauty turned out to be probably the best young actress I’ve ever worked with. I don’t know if a lot of her films have showcased her acting ability more than, say, being action-oriented, but she really stepped up the plate with this one and was very consistent and professional, beyond her years. At 23, I couldn’t do half of what she’s doing.

Regarding Transformers 3, reports say it’s going to start rolling in May 2010 and it will possibly be a 3D film.

The upcoming movie will kick off principal photography in May this year. Additionally, Screen Crave mentioned that Paramount Picture is considering to shoot the film in 3-D.

Michael Bay has said before he wouldn’t like to make a 3D film, but after the HUGE success of Avatar, the studio is pushing him to do it.

Finally, Bay has stated that the third installment of the movie is going to be different from the previous ones:

Although the number of robots increased significantly from the first film for the second, the third film — which will hit theaters in summer 2011, won’t be as robot-heavy and there will be fewer explosions. There will be a nice crescendo ending,” Bay said. It gets much more into the robot character. The last time you kind of met a few of the robots; this time you’re gonna get a much cooler landscape.

Movieweb is reporting that Megan Fox has been cast in the fourth Shrek film, Shrek Forever After.  She will be doing the voice of “Princess from Rumpelstiltskin”. There don’t seem to be anymore details about her role, but she is listed on the films IMDB page so I assume the news is legit.

Well, she is actually covering her breast but you can use your imagination, right?. If you’ve read the script of the film, you should know that her character, Lily, appears naked in some scenes (Of course Megan is not going to be nude in the film though) - Without further preambles, here are the pics.

Megan Fox will be back to work by the end of January to re-shoot some scenes of Jonah Hex, the movie based on the DC Comics comic book of the same name. The film is scheduled to open on June 18th, 2010.

Warner Bros. and Legendary are assembling Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox and Michael Fassbender for a roughly 10-day shoot in the Los Angeles area for the movie, beginning at month’s end.

Although no test screenings have taken place, the studio has decided to work on story and action during the shoots, working in 12 pages of additional script mixed in with some re-shoots.

Megan Fox and Mickey Rourke were shooting some scenes for their upcoming movie Passion Play which is about a talented trumpet player named Nate (Mickey Rourke) who has fallen on hard times and finds himself on the run. His life starts to look up when he falls in love with Lily (Megan Fox), a beautiful angel, who seems to be the answer to his troubles.

Today (January 9th) Megan shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico a scene in wich Lily and Nate got into a truck together and she kissed him on the cheek.

This is just a little reminder: Jennifer’s Body DVD/Blue Ray Unrated version was released today (December 29th).
You will find some exclusives content in the BD (The DVD just contains the trailers and audio commentary) such like deleted scenes, a digital copy and extras, one of them called “Megan Fox is HOT!”.

We have good news people: Passion Play is rolling! The movie is going to be filmed in New Mexico as it was said in the beginning. There are also reports saying the movie is going to be filmed in L.A., it’s not confirmed though.

We’ll probably get some on-set pictures of  Megan soon.

Though there were rumors about whether or not Passion Play, starring Megan Fox and Mickey Rouke, would ever get made, Jon Favreau confirmed the movie is filming in L.A. now on his Twitter page. The movie is also scheduled to film in New Mexico at some point.

So in case you have been living under a rock, this is just a reminder that Jennifer’s Body opens in the U.S. and Canada today (September 18, 2009) so if you are a fan of Megan Fox, make sure you go see the movie and show your support!  Check international release dates on IMDB.

The reviews are pretty mixed, it’s at 38% on Rotten Tomatoes right now and that’s not so hot!  The good news is that many people have been pleasantly surprised at Megan’s acting performance in the film and that is definitely good news.  I’m not sure how you can be all that critical of a movie like this anyways, it’s not aiming to win an Oscar, it’s just for fun.

The Toronto International Film Festival kicks off today (September 10, 2009) and Jennifer’s Body will premier at 11:59PM tonight.  Word has it that Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried will be attending –  the Toronto CTV affiliate has said that they will be on hand so if you are in Toronto you might have a chance to catch a glimpse of Megan!
