well the first movie Knocked Up did well it made about $150mil in the US and got good reviews. The director was asked in January when will filming begin he said June 2011.

great. then start filming in June and has already been confirmed otimo megan good then in 2012 she already has two movies

just wanted to post this its a review from a user on imbd about passion play…. who cares what critics think neways its all about the people who are going to pay to see the film

My wife and I saw this movie at TIFF, and loved it. Megan Fox proves she can truly act. Terrific film. The problem, if there is one, is Mickey Rourke’s character. As good as he was in The Wrestler, there’s a sameness about him, as if the story isn’t sure what it wants from him. Bill Murray is excellent as always, but the real gem here is Fox. There’s no question that she will forever be hounded, as she faces the double standard all female actresses face. If Channing Tatum gets roles because “he looks good on screen”, he still would never face the level of scrutiny of someone like Fox. However, she puts that to rest here, with a sublime performance.

just a question even if passion play got good reviews would it still be going straight to dvd…thats what happened with black swan in ireland anyways…

Thanks Craig, that’s great to read. And what the viewer said about his mention of Channing Tatum is also very true. Women face a much harder critique when it comes to being beautiful and being an actress. Interesting and uplifting read.

Oh i see hah…..i asked a question a little while ago about if passion play was to get good reviews would it of still gotten a small theatrical release and a platform release stradegy following the theatrical release because i heard black swan and 127 hours got the same type of release….black swan and 127 hours only showed in like 1 major theatre in ireland but it is getting a dvd release

probably yea black swan started on 18 screens then went onto 2000+ as word grew and made over $100mil in the US. other highly regarded movies like rabbit hole didn’t get anywhere near that.

I’d like to see Megan play in an action movie, which is why I would like to see in the next Tomb Raider, I would be happy to see her act in the heroine, what do you think?

i think shes good in an action movies and it would be cool to see her play lara croft but if she wants to be taken serious as an actress which she does shes going to need to get into more serious roles that show shes talented so she is probably going to stir clear of action movies for awhile shes going the comedy route now even if she goes that way she can still show shes talented like if its a dramatic comedy which friends with kids sounds like…

I think you’re right, but does not seem right that she should at all costs act in serious films just to prove who is also a good actress, I think she is under too much pressure because they must demonstrate that it is not only beautiful but also good.

i know its kind of sad that she has to prove herself but if she does and im sure she will shes almost guaranteed a long life in film and she said thats what shes always wanted… well when you think of it it doesnt have to be a serious film as long as it is a character piece not just an object to look at like what she has played….if passion play had of gotten a big theatrical release it might have proved she can act….people only say she cant act cos she intelligent and beautiful and not fame hungry in hollywood its almost like your not allowed to be those things together

THR(a very reliable source) is saying Megan had a meeting regarding a role in another new movie which is backed by Paramount. The movie has no offical name but is being referred to as “Doug Liman’s untitled Moon project” Megan is one of about half a dozen actress’ who had meetings.
