Great news. I guess negotiations mean they want Megan for the role + Megan wants the role but they are sorting out the details. I don’t think it means Megan is auditioning for the role etc I guess it passed that stage

Interesting side note Craig linked a comment from someone on Enews a few days ago who said that Megan has already landed the lead role. Its interesting because I couldn’t find any info about it at the time it seems they might have some inside info.

Agreed. Such great news. I think Megan will do well with comedies; she has a great sense of humour and perhaps now finally people will be able to recognise it.

Tidbit: she even said back in an EW interview that she think she’d do well with a Judd Apatow script. I definitely think she will!

IMDB still lists it as in production that’s about all I know I havn’t heard any recent news either way. The celebrity sites that have been saying things like ‘Megan will begin shooting The Crossing once Friends with kids is done’ are just I guess looking at IMDB they probably don’t have another source.

That says the same thing as the deadline article I linked yesterday, I don’t know if that means its a done deal and I don’t know how reliable screenrant is plus they are sourcing Deadline and THR no new source. Deadline and THR are very reliable.
I don’t know what in “talks” and “in negotiations” means in Hollywood speak but to me it means nothing is 100% confirmed.

Until someone from Megan’s team, the movie team or a source like THR/Deadline say Megan is confirmed it isn’t confirmed imo. Like I said its almost confirmed but no reliable source has come out and said Megan has signed on. Although deadline, THR and the director all seem to be implying it until they say it directly I won’t start celebrating lol

Im not sure about the number plates thing either that’s why I asked. Here only one car can have a specific plate plus the fancy writing isn’t allowed either it has to be block characters.
