I personally dont understand everybody high fiving brian. What he said was really nothing. All he said was “dont be an asshole” . He would of been the biggest douche if he didnt say anything. I would of told the guy to F off before i clock him. The reporter was disrespecting Megan fox and all brian said was “dont be an asshole”. Brian didnt lose points in my book but its not like he gained anything either.

But you know what, i would have done something, even if it wasn’t Megan. I cant stand when someone disrespects a woman.

TMZ posted this video on their site and showed it on the show but also had a poll asking if Megan Fox was over-rated on their site 67,874 people voted (so far): 89% think she IS overrated and only 11% say she isn’t. Ouch.

LOL…that poll is so messed up. How can she be overrated? acting wise shes not overrated since everybody hates her and look wise is she overrated? hell to the no. So how can she be overrated. I think people just hate her in general because shes outspoken and different. Even though i love Megan Fox i dont overrate her. Her acting is what it is. In transformers 1 it was bad. She agrees. Its transformers 2 it was better but still not very good. In Jennifers body she played the role very well. Nobody thinks she some oscar winning actress so how can she be overrated?

I’ve walked out of movies where I thought the acting was unacceptable, because when someone’s not convincing its distracting. But its never that way with her… for me anyway. People swear up and down that her acting is terrible, but I don’t think so. Maybe I’m not paying close enough attention or something.
Do I think she hasn’t shown any range? Certainly, but then again she’s only been in what… 3 movies? I just wish people would let her evolve a little before they write her off completely.
Please don’t take what I said as an attack or anything, its just that I don’t understand why people seem to think she’s not good at what she does.

@guesshoo, We are not saying she cant be a oscar winning actress. But now she is not. And she knows it.She’s been evolving since the first transformers, in which she didnt do a good job. She improved a lot in the second one but it still wasnt a movie about acting.In How to lose friends and alienate people she played a superficial character, so it wasnt a big deal for her. Her first real job came with JB, in which she did a good job.She has done a lot of improvement in these 4 movies, so i think she can be an oscar winning actress in the future.

Exactly nicolas. Im not attacking her for acting in transformers 1. But im just stating facts, her acting wasnt good in transformers 1. She agrees with that also. Im not mad that she didnt do a good job in fact im understanding because the movie wasnt about acting. Was it horrible? no. There were some bad parts. But thats alright it was her first big movie. Im actually pretty happy with megan because shes improved with each movie.

I am letting her evolve. Im not mad at all at her for doing a bad job in transformers 1. It was her first big movie. I think if she works hard enough then she can be a good actress. I think whats key with her is her selection of roles.I think she plays a bad girl very well. She has that look. So she could be a villain in a western movie or something. I dont think she fits well into the whole nice girl role yet though. Only time will tell though.

Normally I am not one to comment about celebrities lives or what happens in the tabloids, but I agree with what you guys are saying. I thought Megan was mediocre in Transformers, partly because she hadn’t really had experience acting (minus a couple teen flicks and one tv show) and the other reason being the movie didn’t demand a whole lot lets be honest. Any actress could have been in that role and obviously it wasn’t going to be anything remotely Oscar worthy. Same thing with Transformers 2 though I do agree she did improve a little. But like someone said above she never distracted the movie because of her acting and IMO how she acted and flaunted her body is what Michael Bay demanded of her. Same with her performace on SNL, she handled the material she was given.

I actually went to see Jennifer’s Body opening night and while it may have bombed I thought it was a decent movie. So did my boyfriend. What annoyed me most was when it did bomb the media blamed it all on Megan, no one mentioned that a lot of those types of movies can bomb, maybe no one was interested in the plot, maybe it was the other actors, maybe the same fans of hers from Transformers dont like horror movies. It was all because of Megan’s bad acting and annoying personality. I think the problem was because so much of this film was banking on her fame that it was assumed it was going to a box office knock out and it was all her fault when it wasn’t what it lived up to be. I think had she not been marketed as intensely as she was since June then no one would have given a second thought that it only made $6 million opening weekend. Instead everyone is riding it off as a career killer and how once and for all she was proven overrated yada yada yada.

I also hate that so many people seem hostile that she gained fame for her looks, as if it is her fault she is a sex object. Lets just face it she is trying to make it in Hollywood bc its what shes always wanted to do and its not like she is lying about why she has become famous. Is she just supposed to turn down these roles for principle or something. I notice this is especially an issue with women. You never heard men saying damn that Brad Pitt hes such a b*tch for being famous bc hes an attractive man. Sure he has some talent, but its not like he would have had all the opportunities he has had if he wasn’t good looking and marketable.

The even more annoying people are the ones who just want her to shut up all the time bc she should be seen but not heard. I think its awesome that she says whatever she wants whenever she wants and the fact she talks to the media like one would a friend. People write her off as some stupid moron but alot of the stuff she says is stuff some of my friends would say amongst each other, maybe just not to the entire American media. What she said about Michael Bay is something I would say to people about my boss after a tough day. She was being real about it and its annoying people cant find some way to appreciate that. Obviously no ones job is 100% fun all the time, even as an actress. I actually think its great shes brave enough to not put on a front and act like another Jonas brother or Miley Cyrus. Hollywood actually needs someone more real for a change. IMO as a woman its nice to have someone finally speak their mind for a change, if men can get away with talking about everything why cant women? In that way I do see her as a young Angelina Jolie.

One last thing. The media is saying how overrated she is but its their fault in the first place. As someone who has kinda been watching her since the first Transformers came out, it wasnt until recently that the media has been spending every waking minute listening to what she has to say and following her around like a puppy dog. If they think she is so overrated now then why are they feeding into it by reporting her every move. Its hypocritical. Like that anti Megan day or whatever, most of the websites participating in it saying they were sick of her were the first ones reporting on her prior to that and then directly after it. How does it make sense. if you hate her so much and think shes a huge b*tch then ignore her, dont waste time with essays about how shes trash and unworthy of any attention. I miss the days that the only people reporting about her and mentioning her were actual genuine interested positive fans. I feel so bad for her now having to constantly deal with all the attention and paparazzi and not only that but most of it being negative all the time.

I am just sick of the negativity and exagerration of all the things she says and does on a daily basis. I used to be able to go on all these different magazine websites and now in the last month I only go to a few like this one because at least I know I will hear some positive comments for a change. :-/

Oh please, apologizing… The paparazzi is just doing his dirty ‘job’ and the trick he uses is old: first he tries to attract more attention by insulting and provoking a dialogue in order to take better shots, esp. close-ups; then he ‘apologizes’ – but if you have noticed one of the phrases at the moment was ‘C’mon, roll the windows down!’ So the foul play continues…
As for Brian, looks like he killed 2 birds with one stone: sort of stood up for Meagan Fox, as well as had his 20 sec. of camera time – you see, now they showed him on TMZ haha

I find it interesting most of the stuff tabloids and paparazzi discuss about Megan Fox is her so called “off the wall” comments in interviews or some career stuff like in this case because obviously Megan seems level headed enough not to be shown falling out of cars drunk or high or flashing her lady parts everywhere like a lot of pathetic celebrities are (even Megan has said she doesn’t understand why they would follow her bc shes a rather boring reclusive person). They need something to report sadly. And this is all they have to go on so far so obviously they need to antagonize a little to make it interesting :-/
