Jennifer’s Body opens in the U.S. and Canada TODAY!
So in case you have been living under a rock, this is just a reminder that Jennifer’s Body opens in the U.S. and Canada today (September 18, 2009) so if you are a fan of Megan Fox, make sure you go see the movie and show your support! Check international release dates on IMDB.
The reviews are pretty mixed, it’s at 38% on Rotten Tomatoes right now and that’s not so hot! The good news is that many people have been pleasantly surprised at Megan’s acting performance in the film and that is definitely good news. I’m not sure how you can be all that critical of a movie like this anyways, it’s not aiming to win an Oscar, it’s just for fun.

yeah people dont spoil, i want to see that film, without knowning any parts at all, in my country its only in october, so, ill have to wait a bit more. Im lookin forward to see that film, and i hope in the premiere day here
somebody said that: I don’t care much for Megan Fox, but I can only say that she wasn’t bad in her first starring role, because it plays well on her two main strengths: looking sexy and saying her lines like a porn star. So all in all, she was made for this role. Who knows? Maybe she’ll make an appearance in “Jennifer’s Body II,” or something close to that.

By far the sexiest movie… But only because of Megan.. Awesome movie.. Pretty funny too..
You find yourself liking that Low Shoulder song, “Through The Trees” in the beginning but at the end… annoyed of that song.

The choices made for the actors and their roles were spot on.

i thought it was pretty damn good. She did very well and as always looked stunning throughout the movie….I’d definitely go see it again.

Shes convinced me as a fan, after seeing this movie twice last night. Ive officially fallen in love with her. She has this certain thing about her that makes her glow. I wish megan fox knew who her real fans were.
@DeeplyInLoveWithMeganFox, I wish that too. The real fans are not the ones that say she is beautiful because she is much more than that. Megan’s best side cant be seen with the eyes.
@nicolaspata, Her real fans arent the guys who say they love her and want to pork her. Ive never even thought of it that way. She just seems very down to earth. She seems like the perfect friend. Its a bonus that shes unbelievably beautifull.

Well the movie was decent. Meg made it that much better! It was pretty funny too.
Saw it and loved it, totally quotable movie just like ‘Juno’, though this was a bit more fun. Sadly, the poor promotion of this movie has lead to a “bombing” so to speak at the box office this weekend. I plan on seeing it again and buying when it’s released on DVD, and btw to all the haters, Megan can act if given good material. Her ‘Transformers’ character is dimension less and just there to be the mandatory eye candy in an action film geared at adolescent boys and their nostalgia seeking fathers :)
i liked it. it wasnt the greatest movie ever but megan was of course really hot. and it was pretty funny, kinddaaa original. i cant say it was the best… some stuff was just “wow” in a stupid way but not bad. diablo cody couldve done better though. i think that the trailer kinda ruined it a bit
Unfortunatly i dont think Jennifers body is doing to great at the box office. I really enjoyed it and thought megan delivered much improved acting. Like i said before, i saw the movie twice.
saw it and i liked it! amanda did an amazing job! i thought she was the best actress..but megan did pretty good too…i hope she gets more jobs that arent all about her sex appeal…or where she isnt the hot girl…her acting has improved though….but id like to see her in a character completely different from the characters shes played! :)
I havent seen the film cause here in australia we dont get till the end of next month but after reading these comments by people that have seen the movie it makes me even more pissed of that the movie not out here yet i cant wait any longer.Also i argee with deeply in love with megan fox that she doesnt know who real fan are like you and me who see her has more than the most beutiful women on planet.I have an answer For Kayla that Megan next film Passion Play is a love but fouses less on sex appeal she play a circus freak with wing.
I don’t really care for megan fox haven’t seen the movie yet. I love horror movies but, I would still see it. Even though it hasn’t been doing good at the box office.
I laugh at the comments here. Yes, like you guys I love Megan Fox, she’s beautiful and cool. But to say that movie was good, I just laugh. The storyline was ridiculous and no it was not funny, nor was it scary. Megan Fox did a great job portraying the character but how that story got a greenlight from the executives leaves me scratching my head. The worst was Adam Broody (sp?)’s character and his friends. Wow talk about ‘who came up with that idea?”, then the lezbo scene with Jennifer and Amanda Seyfried’s character, how did that fit into into the movie…oh, just to draw the guys into the box office. As far as I’m concerned, the movie was a C-. It would have been better if the movie was totally a horror flick. It’s like the writer was battling with the idea of making it a comedy or a horror movie. It failed at both count.

My wife and I went to see the movie this afternoon and we both liked it. For her first starring role, Megan did very well. I think in time she’ll blossom into a very good actress. Her female co star was really good and for me, she kinda stole the movie as I was rooting for her. Megan’s character was kind of hard to like, but she has an unbelievable presence on film!! Legendary for sure!

I thought the movie reminded me of drag me to hell. These kind of movies never work out much because its horror-comedy. I enjoyed the movie though and i loved megan in it.
I was the one above that thought the movie wasn’t good. But I must add, the best acting in the movie by Megan Fox was when she was without makeup (or when she wore fake makeup that looks like no makeup). She really showed her acting abilities during those scenes. I think she should choose more movies where she has little or no makeup. Forget the glamour roles. That’s how she can establish herself as a legitimate actress. I really think she can act but she has to forget about the sexy Megan Fox for a while.
I was surprised by her acting too! I always thought ‘oh, she’s just another pretty face.’ But apparently I was wrong. The movie was good too. Scary, yet funny. Megan did good, and so did amanda :)
I agree with you saying that she will blossom into a good actress. Shes only done about 3 films, she’ll ease into it. She’s pretty good for a beginner. I’m rooting for her.
