i check this site out alot because you get the news fast, but you should change your host or something, too many popups that can give viruses. im not sure if this is a free host but i have a fansite on hollywood.com. they are free and doesnt have all these tacky popups and things on the sidebar.
Amanda: sorry about that, I had some ad networks that suddenly started really messing up the site.. I’ve removed a bunch of them from the site today. Unfortunately, the site is expensive to run, it requires a dedicated server, so I need to run ads in the sidebars to cover the costs.
Oh ok, my site doesnt cost to run so i didnt know. Im glad you cleaned it up a bit, some of those popups shutdown the page and said i needed to run a virus scan. I knew that was bogus but some people might not have and got a virus. Can i ask what cost so much on the site?
The site uses a lot of bandwidth and resources, the image gallery needs a lot of power to run quickly as does the rest of the site. I’ve tried running on cheap $10 a month hosting plans but I got booted off because the site is too busy.
oh ok, i guess im just lucky everything is free for me and it runs perfectly oh and yeah the popups are better now. thanks!
